Founder of PABLE Design

Dongmin Park is a designer and founder of PABLE Design, a studio based in Busan that connects creativity with execution. Since 2013, he has pursued a journey of turning empathy into real products — not stopping at concepts, but carrying ideas through design, tooling, and manufacturing into the market.

Over the past decade, he has led numerous government-supported innovation projects with manufacturing and technology partners, creating products such as the modular coffee machine Bartooler and a smokeless moxibustion device, both introduced to Asian and Middle Eastern markets. Beyond client projects, he has also developed his own Paper Toy IP and Busan Landmark series, expanding design into cultural and tourism value.

Recognized with global design awards and trusted by institutions such as the Korea Institute of Design Promotion, Park continues to act as both designer and entrepreneur. His vision is to unite design, manufacturing, and storytelling to enrich everyday life and to drive the global expansion of regional industries.

박동민은 부산을 기반으로 창의성과 실행을 연결하는 스튜디오, 페이블디자인의 설립자이자 디자이너입니다. 2013년부터 그는 공감에서 출발해 단순한 콘셉트 제안에 머물지 않고, 기획·디자인·금형·양산으로 이어지는 과정을 통해 아이디어를 시장에서 살아있는 제품으로 구현해 왔습니다.

지난 10여 년간 제조·기술 기업들과의 협업을 통해 정부 지원 혁신 프로젝트를 성공적으로 수행했으며, 대표작인 모듈형 커피머신 Bartooler와 무연 쑥뜸기는 아시아와 중동 시장에 진출했습니다. 또한, 자체 브랜드인 페이퍼토이 IP와 부산 랜드마크 시리즈를 통해 디자인을 문화와 관광 가치로 확장해 왔습니다.

국제 디자인 어워드 수상과 한국디자인진흥원을 비롯한 공공기관의 신뢰를 바탕으로, 그는 디자이너이자 기업가로서 활동 영역을 넓히고 있습니다. 앞으로도 디자인·제조·스토리텔링을 하나로 잇는 철학을 통해, 일상을 풍요롭게 하고 지역 산업의 글로벌 확장을 이끌어 나가고자 합니다.
